today in the acceptance, by a mass
meeting of citizens, of a proposition
of the Industrialists to terminate the
controversy and a committee appoint
ed to urge the council to accept. The
Industrialists say they will stop the
campaign if I. W. W. prisoners now
Jailed will be paroled. Two designat
ed blocks In the city will be given
over to free speech and then they
promise most of the Industrialists will
leave Fresno. ,
