The loss is $1200 with no insurance to cover it. No One Injured. Fortunately the explosion occurred at a time when no one was In or near the vessel. She had been docked for the night, following the customary evening runs last night, and shortly after midnight, the explosion occurr ed. With great rapidity, the vessel was consumed to the water edge for the flames hud been scattered over the entire deck of the launch.
