Mrs. Robbins is one of those who helped settle the west, and her ad vanced age Is no detriment to vivid stories of frontier life as she remem bers it. The host and hostess had ar ranged a pretty party for the occa sion. Mrs. Bobbins was born near Georgetown, Ky May 26th, 1823 and in 1841 she moved to Indiana.. She crossed the plains in 1852 and settled on a donation ' claim in . Clackamas county, later moving to The Dalles, She was . married in 1845 , to Doctor J. Al Robbins, and he died at The Dalles in 1886. " ' Mrs. Robbins comes from a sturdy race. Her mother died at the age of 98 and ''Grandma" is now a great, great, great , grandmother, five gene rations being represented in the fam ily , scion of Mrs. N. J. Murray, of Wrights, Wash, a daughter of Grand ma Robbins, the latter's daughter, Laura Webber, her son Wm. Webber, and his son Harry 1 Webber, who is still a small child of four months, a scion of five generations. r. . Aside from Mrs..
