all nlght.resultlng in the destruction
of 30,000,000 feet of lumber, with a
loss of $365,000 dollars, the fire in
the Himbird Lumber1 company's yard
at Sand Point, Idaho, was extinguish
ed erly this morning. The combin
ed efforts of the fir? d!iartments of
Sand Point and Pen J d'Orille were
rushed to suMue the flames. The big
plahing and cutting nllls of the com
pany were saved.. For a time the
towns of Sand Point and.Kootenla
were threatened with destruction but
were saved by be efficient work of

ed. The ten days alloted to counting
cities , expires tonight , at midnight,

questions the proprietors are held
responsible unless the roomer makes
his refusal to the enumerator, In
which case the individual himself in
reponslble-and must suffer arrest
