stand the punch in his stomach as
good as ever?" Berger insists that
he will be the same old Jeff and that
his Jaw and stomach will be as in
vulnerable as ever. To hear Berger
talk, Jeffries has no possible chance
to lose, unless he should break an
arm or leg, but he will have to be
shown. Camp followers are willing
to concede that the bollermaker can
get into good physical condition but
have to be convinced that he has re
covered his old power to assimilate
punishment before admitting that he
even has a chance.
There are three main entrances to
the building, and - two of them are
