About W acres of the Mlt phell place recently purchased by a Seattle syndicate are being planted to fruit, and it is thought; that the whole 200 acres will be planted.be fore the season ends. Fruit men of the Cove districts pooled their spray orders this year and have so far received nearly two car loads of the bug destroyer to be used In the crusade for cleaner or cnarcis ana better fruit. The ma terial shipped In this year Is the standard lime and sulphur compound recommended by experiment stations everywhere, and being a spray of known and proved efficiency will surely bring better results than the home .made sprays largely used in this country heretofore. -. He has purchased a ten-acre fruit tract from the Cleaver Thronson. Bridges holdings and he will open offices here, likely, while superintending the culture of his orchard.
