Saturday's Elections.
Saturday's election was. simply a
repetition of former results when
ever the people understood the situ
ation, they are always ready to con
tribute to the public schools. This
was the heaviest vote ever cast on a
bonding proposition and carried near
ly two to one. Those, or at least 95
per cent of thos who voted against
the bonds, were not opposed to main
taining the best possible schools, bin
- held different views regarding the
method. Some thought the waul
schools would prove to be a better

was merit in that view, but the ma
jority who voted against the bonds
were not acquainted with our actual
