Ifow Story lot Started Is Hot Known Evidently Stock Boomer Plan. What Is evidently a huge and well planned scheme to aispose of Eastern Oregon Oil stock, has been uncovered by the return to this city of D. M. Hunt, who in conjunction with Grant Keyes is the owner of an oil well drill at Nyssa, In Eastern Oregon, but who; according to bis own statement has not found new and more striking indi cations of oil in Eastern Oregon. ' A report to this efTect was started Sat iirriy 'hen a airtu tuttu to be C. O! Thomas of Vale, gave out a report In Boise that Mr. Hunt had tapped an Oil lake near Nyssa. Thomas, in news paper reports, said that a stampede for that section would surely follow, and evidently It has.- Mr. Hunt gives evidence to back up his sharp denial of the report He has just recently returned from a two week'g stay in Portland, and affirms that his well drill at Nyssa has been idle for more than that length of time. He is at a loss to know why or how the report had its incention, but he has gone there personally to probe the matter!"
