The clams which the firemen were to feast on last evening arrived here this morning, but, alas, too late. Chief Jones will dispose of them local ly and order another consignment for the feed when it Is held at a future date. Superintendent A. Thomas of the local sugar factory and Ed. Brady, will leave at once for Ogden where Mr. Thomas will assume the super intendency of the Odgen sugar fac tory, to close up the run there. His ability as a sugar maker Is undlsput ed; ' Miss Leila Wilson, of this city who left several weeks ago for Walla Wal la to accept a position with the W.
