TAKING 1NYETORT OF ASSETS.
The politicians who wish to run ev
erything In this state on the assembly '
plan should get busy taking little
inventory of their sto-k in trade.
First they adopted resolutions in
Portland asking the initiative and ref
erendum anrenduieut to the constitu
tion. At thl3 the State Granae took ac
tion and notified all the subordinate
granges to fight the proposed retro
gressive measure.
Next the assembly for nominating
state and county candidates was pro
mulgated and all who would not sub
scribe were threatened with political
ostracism In the name of republican
ism. The smoker system for getting up
steam for the assembly was tried on
and developed that the labor organiza
tions en masse are against cuttling
the direct primary law.
The promoters of the assembly have
not got very far, but they have already
struck some big snags that will keep
them busy, and if they want any more
evidence that the assembly plan Is
doomed to defeat they can get it in
.iort order. Sa!em Journal.

Heartburn, Gas, Dyspepsia and Other
Stomach Misery Vanishes.
The question as to how long you
are going to continue a sufferer from
indigestion, dyspepsia, out of order
stomach is merely a matter of how
soon you begin taking Diapepsin.'
If your stomach is lacking in di
gestive power, why not help the stom
ath to do Its work, not with drastic
drugs, but a reinforcement of diges
tive agents, such as are naturally at
work In tlje stomach. - -
People with weak stomachs should
take Diapepsi noccasionally and there
will be no more indigestion, no feel
ing like a lump of lead In the stom
ach, no heartburn, sour risings, gs
on the stomach of belching of undiges
ted food, headache, dizziness or sick
stomach and besides what you eat will
not ferment and poison your breath
with nauseous odors. Al lthese symp
toms resulting from a sour-out of or
der stomach and yspepsia are gen
erally relieved five minutes after tak
ing a litle Diaprpsln.
Go to your druggist and get a 50
cent case of Pape's Diapepsin now,
and you wil lalways go to the table
with a hearty appetite, and what you
eat will taste good, because your
stomach and Intestines will be clean
and fresh, and yo uwlll know that
there Is not going to be any more bad
nights and miserable days for you.
They freshen you and make you feel
that life's worth living.

SO DYSPEPSIA MISERY.
Xo Indigestion, Heartburn, Gas or
Headache Five Minutes Later.
You can eat anything that your
Btomach craves without fear of indi
gestion or dyspepsia, or that your food
will ferment or sour on your stomach
if you will take a little Diapepsin oc
casionally. Your meals will taste good and auy
hing that you may eat will be digested
so that nothing can ferment or turn
into acid or poison or stomach gas,
which causes belching, dizziness, a
feeling of fullness after eating, nau
seau, indigestion (like a lump of lead
in the stomach,) billiousness, heart
burn, water brash, pain in the stomach
and intestines or other symptoms.
Headaches from the stomach are ab
solutely unknown where this effective
remedy i3 used. Diapepsin really does
the work of a healthy stomach. It di
gests your meals when the stomach
cant. A single tlcse will digest all the
food you cat and lave nothing to fer
ment or sour a::d npset the Btomach.
Get a large "0-ctnt case of Pape's
Jiapepsin from your druggist and start
taking it now and In a little while you
will actually brag about your healthy
strong stomach, for you then can eat
anything and everything you want
without the slightest discomfort or
misery, and every particle of Impurity
or gas that la in your stomach and in
testines is going to be carried away
without the use of laxatives or any
other assistance.
Should you at this moment be suffer

minutes.
