Tom Williamson, the big line plung lng fullback on the La Grande team, was yesterday afternoon chosen cap tain to the team next year in the La Grande High school, to succeed Joe Ingle, the retiring leader. The elec tion took place in the Ritter studio where the team had posed for 'group photographs Just prior to the g ame. Williamson's tool, collected manner, under fire, will prove a narcotic to the newer players. Joe Ingle leaves the helm of the 1909 team with the highest praise and confidence of his men.
