The grocerymen have made this decision today and the barbers have followed suit. The barber shops will remain open late Wednesday night. While no flaper has been circulated among the drygoods and hardware men the majority of them expressed a willingness to close all day. Some said that they would close at noon, whatever happened. With sentiment in favor of closing all day the matter will probably be settled definitely tomor row in favor of closing all day. E. D. Jackson left for Walla Walla today on a brief business trip. Sheriff Chllders went to Talocaset on a late train this afternoon to bring the destitute children written about in the Observer yesterday, to this city city. ....
