' In the morning the men spoke In the Presbyterian, Baptist, Methodist and Christian churches. In the after noon Secretary Rhodes talked to the men at the Pastime theatre, and in the evening Mr.. Stone, assist hy Mr. Rhodes delivered a lantern slide lecture in the Christian church. The impressive point in this lecture was that all the cities in the country that are alive and booming are getting 'in these fine buildings in which the men may keep their . bodies in condition under the eyes of a trained physical director. : ' - ', ; . Growers are demanding big prices, even at this time and bulk sales from the trees have as yet, been few, for buyers are refusing to pay the $1.25 and $.1.50 asked per box. It can be safely stated that apple deals will not be numerous or large until the East ern markets limber up that buyers may find sales, or else the prices drop to a point where the buyers can see a profit Jn shtpptng east However.
