King Rowe, charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, returned u ver dict this morning in which the yoiiug man was found guilty of simple hi sault. Judge Knowles set tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock as the date foi passing sentence. The sentence v-UI only be a fine for this offense. The most extended trip ever taken by a La Grande high school football team is In store for the players the last of this week. On Friday evening the eleven and their Beveral substi tutes will leave for Caldwell, Idaho, wnere tney will meet the College of Idaho on the gridiron Saturday after noon.
