The following story comes from Huntington: As a result of a "friendly" glass of beer tendered to Fong Waugh. the night cook at the Portland restaur ant, that Oriental is out about $230. Thursday morning about 4 o'clock two fellows came Into the restaurant, according to Fong's story, and want ed something to eat One of the gentlemen carried a small glass of beer which he had brought especi ally for the Chinaman, and Inlated on him .drinking It In a few minutes I Fong became so dizzy and sick that he left his work and went In the back room and laid down.
