It Is rumored that the rich Luat Cabin Placer mines on the Imttnha, owned by Joseph parties, have been sold. We have been unable to net th particulars, but it is understood that the price paid will reach the 7-figure mark. This will be ono of the largest mining deals ever made in this mining district. The hostesses maintained a huge bon fire and amuse ment of various kinds during the course of the evening. Refreshments were served, consisting, of coffee and sandwiches. Social life at this pop ular camp is brisk, and though a con siderable distance from the city, ev ery night finds old and young, boys and girls, risking the perilous Journey by foot.
