Dairy cows are not for sale la Union
county, especially the Grande Ronde
valley. Mr. Clark of Buttee, Montana,
will attest to this statement. Having
heard through newspapers of the
Northwest, of the magnificent dairy
stock maintained In this valley by the
numerous . herd owners, Mr. Clark
came here to buy up all he could get
a hold of. He traversed the county
from one end to the other, but went

ton and La Grande at this place and
Baker City and Elgin at Baker City.
