Yesterday morning at 10 o'clock
the G. A. R. and W. R. G. members
met at the hall and marched in a
body to the Presbyterian church,
where they listened to a very elo
quent and pleasing address by Rev.
Seemann, who took for his subject
"Our Heroes and Our Heritage,"
speaking with much feeling of the
service rendered us of the younger
generation by these, "Our Heroes;"
and with inspiring sentences the re
sult of their sacrifice which haB be
come "Our Heritage."
On account of May 30 falling on
Sunday, Memorial-day exercises will
take place on Monday; Rev. Deal
will make the address.
