I By a decision . handed down by President Aluggley of the Eastern Or egon Amateur baseball league. Cove is titid for first place by Union. The decision is, the outcome of a dispute over a squeeze play done at Cove the first game played between Union and Cove. Union was in line to win that game and, they claim, would have won had Umpire Childers allowed the run. At any rate Union contested the de cision and handed its troubles to Muggley at Baker City. Yesterday Muggey handed down a decision which throws the game off the slate, and ordered it played over at Union on June 5. The game in question, was the only one that Union has lost, hence, until the sawoff la played, she stands on a par with Cove, namely of having won all games played. The rise of the Union team puts La Grande In second place. Good Candy (heap. McDonald's chocolate 40 cent candy on sale Saturday only 25 cents a box. At the Silverthorn's FamilyDrug Store.
