The Polmatier Sisters' Orchestra & Concert company will appear again In La Grande at the First Baptist church Monday, March 29, under the ausplceH of the above society. These sisters made a wonderful hit In this city two years ago, when they played for tho Commercial club. They have a rare treat for the citizens of . La Grande this season, for their programs are 1 00 per cent better than ever, for they have added more Instruments to theli list. Beautiful new costumes and also scenic and electrical equipment, en- tirvly new "and up-to-date programs, in fact, the Polmatier sisters claim there Is nothing too good for them, and they have given the best that can he produced In their line. These pro grams are varied with orchestra, man dolin orchestra, soprano, trio and cho rus singing of a high class. And Miss Lu Selia always makes a decided hit In her artistic, spirited and natural leadings, and this is one of the many enjoyable numbers ia the program. These sisters not only solo on one In strument, but are artists on a num ber, viz: Lu Seba.-Directress Violin, mando lin, alto, leader. . Helene E. Cornet, mandolin, sec ond soprano. E. Phyllis Trombone, cello, solo soprano. E. Pauline Piano, clarinet, guitar. Ina K. Drums and traps. Boehm Flute," mandolin, assisted by David , piano. Ina K'. Is also an artist on the xylo phone and bells. One can see at a Klance what a fine combination these si-wrs have, and no wonder they hold their audience spellbound, for they each have a natural born talen for the Instruments they have chosen. There Is that harmony and sympathy throughout their program that Is sel- dtini if ever found elsewhere. Those who attend this grand treat will he pleased for they have the gift and know how to please all. The Wenatchee .World says: Every member (U the program Is worth the price of admission.
