some very helpful thoughts on "Per

coming Into closer touch with the
man's life, his striking personality and
marked characteristics might aid In
a clearer comprehension of his works.
Then, as a fitting climax, Mrs. Ivan-

Residents of Meachnm are elated
over the announcement mode recently
by the Meacham Lumber company to
the effect that the sawmill at that
place would start up In a few days for
a two-years steady run. A lurgo force
of loggers have been working for sev
eral weeks bringing In the timbers
from the mountains over the spur rail
road tracks, Tun out Into the- timber
by the company. , ,
The planing' mills have, been busy
steadily for about three weeks and
shipments of dressed lumber are be
ing made almost tery day. The plan
ing mills have ben running, off and
on, all winter, but assurance has been
given that It will be a long time be
fore they are colsed again.

the little mountain community as it
