Senate today pass ! two amendments to the constitution providing for the segregation of state and county taxes, and providing for classifying property so to apply on different rates of taxation to the dlf 'ferent classes. The amendments were -asked for by the Grange, and will go to a vote of the people in 1910. The house passed the senate bill requiring guarantee title corporations deposit of $100,000 bond to do business in Oregon. The clash between the house and senate, which threatened to tie up all legislation, whs adjust ed temporarily this morning by the senate agreeing to accept all the house bills passed up io date. This morning the senate again .showed Its teeth by indefinitely post poning eight house bills without de bate, but It Is believed fresh hostilities will break out this afternoon.
