The block ado which was caused by floods has 'cx'jfnd for iVys, completely ob structing all traffic. The Northern Pacific was a heavy sufferer In the floods. On the Panco Wiillu Wulla branch the line was bad ly washed and had only n6w been re paired. The North Bunk to Portland was wushed out at Grand Dalles, and the Pendleton-Pasco line was bad ly damaged and blocked by the floods, but the damage was largely between Helix and Pasco. During the early part of the block ade It was Impossible even to get con struction trains to the washouts, but on Saturday last the assistant super intendent got a work train with steam shovel and about 75 men on the line between Helix and Pasco with the re sult that their work Is practically completed.
