Scnat&r Sorg hum and Congressman Corntassel, and other solons from the bi.f ollc dlutrlota, are up In t.rms because of the reduc tion that h-iH been made In the amount of free seeds if t-e t"lst lbuted among their constll.i mts this :at. Free seeds are among tho most vaiuable argu ments used ly r.onjt: sfmen for im pressing the IrtSlrdli.'.'Hy of their re election upoa rural vi ters, and the loss of even a portion of this perquisite Is viewed with alarm. , Owing to the high price of seeds, re sulting from a crop shortage, each congressman will have only 10,000 packages of vegetable seeds to dis tribute among his constituents. In re cent years the quota of each member has been 12,500 pnekages. The quota or tlower seeus, 6uu packages, remains the same.. . An effort will undoubtedly be made to have the appropriation Increased, so as to make up the deficiency. This will be opposed by Representative Weeks and other conservative mem bers. Mr. Weeks invariably votes against free seeds, MtwloTUiry Supper. ( The W. H. M. S. of the M. . E. church, will serve supper at the home of Mrs. F. H.
