Kuhn and family have disposed of the Summervllle property and have moved to La Grnnde, where they ex poet to make their future home. On account of the severe storms throughout eastern Oregon last night .the eastbound passenger train waf two hours late this morning. Mr. and Mrs. C. K. Ilappcrswtt and family, who have been visiting rela tlves at Camas, Wash., for the past two weeks, returned this morning. Mr. and Mrs. Jess McMawters, who have been visiting their daughter, Mrs. Charles Grandy since Christmas, re turned to Union this morning. Miss Maud Clement returned this morning to Walla Walla, where she is attending Whitman college, after spending the holidays "with her par- nts. Mrs. James Gavin retained this nornlng from Portland, where the n has been visiting hw son James, who is in the hospital there as a result of an Injury received here in the yards. Mrs. Gavin stated that-ho-ls recover ing slowly, but it will be several weeks yet before he can leave the hospital. The W. H. Bohnenkamp Co. re ceived a telegram this, morning stating that the demonstrator Cadillac would bo shipped them during the next three or four days, and it Is expected to ar rive the first of next week. It Is a 30 horse power machine, and many pros pective buyers are anxiously awaiting Its arrival. Mrs. H. L. Anderson of Ontario, ar- rived this morning, and Mr. Anderson is expocted Sunday, and will be guests of MK and and Mrs. J. J. Carr. Mrs. ! Anderson Is Mr. Carr's sister.
