M, Sixth in fantry, who Is reported to have de serted at Ft. Missoula, Mont., on No vember 24, i908. He evidently did not like army life as he only enlisted on October 17 of this year. At enlist ment he gave his residence as La Grande, and the name and address of the person to be notified in his behalf In case of emergency as Mrs. R. C. May, of Love, Ore., his mother.
