The City of La Grande doe ordain as follow: . Section 1. Tath any peron who shall, after this ordinance goes Into effect, sell, exchange or give away any Intoxicating liquor of any kind, or in any way violate any of the provision of this ordinance, within the city of La Grande, Oregon, shall upon convic tion thereof before the recorder, be punished by a fine not less than J50.O0 nor more than 1300.00, or by lmprla- onment In the city Jail for not less than 25 days nor more than 150 days. If anv Derosn shall be convicted a second lime for violating any of the provisions of this ordinance, uch per son shall be punished for the second and each subsequent violation of this ordinance, by both such fine and im prisonment.
