Said election Is- called by order of tl! Council of the City of La Grande for the purpose of proposing and sub mitting to the people of the City of La Grande the approval and adoption of certain amendments to the charter of the city of La Grande as shown by the proposed charter heretofore ap proved by the council of the City of l.s Grande by ordinance No. 392.
