It Is only today that local an nouncement can be made of the pro ject. With one or two conditions that are undecided, the date of actual or ganization may yet be some time off. One Hundred niouwind Capital. When the new banking Institution Is organized it will be with $100,000 capital. This Is $40,000 more than the Farmers & Traders organized with. This is as substantial a capital stock ,as exists jn banking houses In a city of this size, and the men behind It, Jullous Roesch, the local brewer; N. K. West,, the merchant and horse man; A. T. Hill, the druggist; ,C. T. Bacon, a prominent physician, and T. J. Scroggln, assistant cashier of the Eastern Oregon Trust & Savings bank, are classed among the city's most wealthy business men. . No Organization Yet. ... . Aside from making application for the charter, there has been no perma nent organization. One or two trans actions of considerable weight remain unconsummated, with the result that If they are not determined soon, will defer completion of arrangements for a time. When conditions shape them selves fittingly, the five Incorporators, will form the organization. Application Granted. The application sent to the comp troller of the - currency, has been granted. It will require several days for1 the papers in the deal to reach the hands of the local promoters, but news of the acceptance has been made ihrmio-h the reaular . telegraph news channels.
