' New scenery and several "drops" have been added to the equipment on the Scenic stage, and when the high class vaudeville artists appear on the boards, they have every facilitly for doing their work well. Last evening Walters & Murray put on a sketch that was nifty. In tact the house makes a noise like a big vaudeville house. Leroy Berry ha a stunt In volving southern dialect in which he sings out the alphabet in a catchy man ner. Berry Is making a big hit, and there Is considerable division of public opinion as to who is the most popu lar of the two teams working at the Scenic. ' .- , -7 A delay in shipment is the reason why only one show of the new program was given last evening, but Manager Gardlnler worked In some additional vaudeville and put on a hold-over film that was not particularly . good, but filled tho present want Later on In the evening the full films arrived and one performance was given. Tonight the same films can be seen. "Vestal," is the beautiful thing among them, and many think It Is the most highly tw!ovI miii ayautMi-uiiir mm seen In the Scenic yet While unable to avoid the delay last night, the manager promises enough for tonight to make up for it i NECESSARY SCRGERP. ; .
