BY Mr. Wilbur returned from San Fran Cisco but a few weeks ago and says that while In San Francisco he met J Scheuerman, who told him he had inaile 16000 from the rendleton wool en mill during the year he operated the plant When questioned this morning re garding the matter, Mr. Wilbur de clared ponltlvely his belief that the woolen mill business can be made to pay In this city If the mill be under proper management. He says that the general conditions throughout the whole country are favorable to the business. As to whether or not he would take the management of the local plant Mr, Wilbur said he might find It possible to do so should a suitable proposition be presented to him. Every' hotel, lodging and rooming house, and many private . residences are filled with visitors to the fair, and many people are unable to find rooms, walking the streets. Two Crews Have Completed Fifteen Miles of Electric Power Conveying Vlrc9 Working From Both Ends Will, Bo Completed and Ready for Use In Twenty Days. Within 20 days the construction of conveying liries from the Rock Creek project to Union, where they In turn are 4to connect with wires leading to the street and Individual electric lights of this city, will be completed, accord ing to Fred Housh, who Is managing the construction work, and who Is here today. Crews are working from both ends of the line, the one at Rock creek having completed the erection of poles and stringing of wires a dis tance of three miles, while the crew which Is working out of ' Union has gone 12 miles up the canyon. The 14 miles remainlpg are through a country less obstructive to rapid work, and it is the belief of the riianager that 20 days will close the work..
