After betngr out for about five hour the Jury in the case of the State of Oregon vs. D. R. Trapp, charged with murdering Slim Jasperson at Hunting ton last August, reported a verdict of guilty of murder in the second de gree, yesterday afternoon. D. R. Trapp, the convicted man showed little emotion when the ver dict was read. His father broke coml pletely down and fell upon his eon's shoulder weeping most bitterly. Not a person in the court room had anything. but the greatest sympathy for the father. , hen the verdict had been ivad Judge Smith announced that he would pans sentence on Trapp at 9 o'clock Saturday morning. ' Means Life Imprisonment. Through the Jury's decree, D. R. Trapp will be forced to spend the re malnder of his life in the penitentiary unless he is granted a pardon by some governor.
