the reception committee that - will
meet the excursion . train from La
Grande next Sunday morning. With
a large delegation from the larger
towns and at least one from each of
the many hamlets, the committee -will
be sufficient to treat the excursion

Attorney J. D. Slater and District
Attorney F, 8. Ivanhoe are slated for
responses to addresses of welcome.
The address of welcome to Wallowa
town will be responded by Mr.. Slater,
while Colonel Ivanhoe will respond to
the welcome to Wallowa county.
As .the day approaches for the big
excursion, lunch baskets well equip
ped with tin cups are being prepared,
in mind, and by Sunday morning will
be a reality.' Anywhere from 500 to
600 are expected to join the bunch If
the weather is favorable. '
