In the fall she dislocated her right wrist, and fractured both bones In the left wrist, i She Is resting well today and, because of her tender age, will soon be fully recovered though the dislocation will be slow In healing. 1 They Would Hear Parker. Democartlc enthusiasm Is being kindled in Umatilla county this week by the report that Judge Alton B. Although In point of quality the apple crop of this valley will not be much greater than that of last year the excellent quality of the fruit for 1908 will have a ten dency to boost prices and cause a de mand. Figures of railroad officials show that last year's product aggre gated 450,000 boxes, about half that amount having been shipped. The estimate for this year is placed eorr-He-nHy l:lfrher. and Ir. the neigh borhood of 500,000 boxes will be har vested. Fruitgrowers have paid spe cial attention to spraying this season and as a result one of the finest crops ever seen In this section will soon be ready for pickers. This valley shipped 50 carloads more fruit last season than did the famed Yakima valley. CotK'kive of SMKks. Northport, Me., Aug. 15.
