AVlth a three-year leaso on the Parr Simmons fruit warehouse In their pos session, and about to take final steps to orgnnUe themselves Into a eorpor atlon with the ' express purpose' of dealing in fruits which are growing In the Grande Rondc. valley, Messrs. Garrlt Oldenburg, Ray W. Logan arid C. O. .Ramsey all local men ore about to Incorporate with ample cap ital to meet demands. With the splendid warehouse facll- structure oh Jefferson avenue, and with -ample capital to buy .and ship fruit unhampered, the .Incorporation, which is yet unnamed, will be in posi tion to do an expansive business. while the process of incorporation lias not been Inaugurated as yet. such Is the purpose of these three men, however, and It Is expected that the papers will be filed In a few days. Two of the gentlemen. Messrs. Olden berg and ' Ramsey, are experienced fruit men, and with Mr. Logan's busi ness ability, the firm should be well engineered. Incorporation always means addi tional stability to any firm and every additional Incorporation that is added to the city's list of enterprises, is de sirable. Thugh Messrs. Ramsey and Oldenberg have been engaged in buy ing and shipping fruit for the past sev eral years, there will no doubt .be a noticeable expansion In their already extensive business as a result of the recapitalization and, Incorporation which Is to follow. -' TO TAP WALLA WALLA. Drench to Garden City Will Leare the Mala Line Near IUtivUle. Walla Walla is to have another rail road, which, will cut the distance from the Garden City to Spokane (7 miles, the new line to be 141 miles long. In a recent Issue of a Spokane paper full details of the proposed line are given, showing maps of territory through which the road will pass, says a paper of that city. ... The Walla Walla line wilt branch off from the main road from Spokane to Portland at Cow creek Junction, near RlUvllle. Already part of this branch has been surveyed and plana are being rapidly formulated for start ing actual work on the road as aoon as possible. President Strahorn and his associates rely on the perfection of the roadbed, slight grades and curve, to bring returns from this road which will be greater than thoso darlved from .others because of the compara tive small expense of the North Coast with lines of other companies. Notice, To My Friends and Patrons: Having sold my stock of hardware etc., to Messrs. Lilly and Foster, who will continue in the same line of bus iness, and at the same place. ' Mr. Lilly having been associated with me for the past six years, I take pleasure In recommending the new firm to my many frlundc and patrons and trust that you will find business with them as pleasant as our business relations have always been. I will be found at the store during the month of July, and will' be pleased to have as many of my friends call and settle their ac counts as possible during the month.
