The City of La Grande does ordnln as follows: . Soctlon 1. That no pershn, persons. firm or corporation,., shall store, or caue or permit to be stored, or keep for sale within the corporate ltmlU of the City . of La Grande, Oregon, any nitro-glycerlne or dynamite, nor more than 100 pounds of JuVlson blasting powder, which must at all times be kept In metal cans, and stored In a basement or vault and placed near the dor thereof, nor more than 100 pounds of giant powdur, and ten boxes of caps for the same, to be kept! In a vault undorgroiiiQ.Outslde of the; building; provided, however, that said giant powder shall be rtored at a dis tance of at leant 100 feet from any other powder, and at least 25 feet from the giant powder caps;' provided, further, that It shall be lawful to store or keep for sale, in any brick or stone store or warehouse, not more than 60 pounds of gunpowder at any one time, which must at all times be kept In metal cans. .
