The sermon was Impressive, and all (elt that none can bring a clean thing out of an unclean, and nothing un clean can enter heaven. ' Salvation can only be appreciated by those who know and feel the llfe-glvlng touch of the spirit of God. : ' At the close of the sermon some half-dozen more surrendered their lives to the service of Jesus Christ. The week has been a profitable one and more than a score have decided for Christ while many, others have requested prayers that they may have courage to forsake sin for a life of righteousness. Mrs. Marie Emelle Brichoux, nee Morrell, died last evening at 9: SO o'clock in the home of her daughter. Mrs. Augustus' Kohler, near Bakei City. The funeral will be held Sun day afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from, the Kohler home. . .' . Mrs. Brichoux was born lit Lor raine, France, in 1825, and came to California in 185S. She waa married soon after coming to California to Constant Brichoux. In 1880 she came to Baker City and has lived there since that time. She leaves three' children, two daughters and a son. ' They are Mrs. Augustus Kohler of Baker City, Mrs. E. P. Staples and David Brichoux of this cltv.
