the February terf, 1908:
In the mutter of the proposed coun
ty road petitioned for by J. B. Thorn-
sop, et al, dismissed.
Petition of J. T. Williamson to make
abstracts on unassessed lands In Vnlon
county, was allowed. 1
In the matter of the proposed coun
ty road petitioned for by E.E. Hale,
et al, the report of the board of coun
ty road viewers was approved and
the road ordered placed in condition
for travel.
In the matter of the appointment of
a county fruit Inspector, continued
for the term.
In the matter of the petition of the
La Grande Investment company to
open certain county roads, continued
frtr tprm.
In the matter of the opening of bids
for wood, the contract was awarded
to M. McMurray at $4 per cord.
In the matter of the petition of
Adolph Wealty for admission of J. C.
Ward to county home, the petition
was granted.
In the matter of the proposed
change of county road, petitioned for
by J. W. Elliot, et al, the report of
the board of county road viewers was
accepted and March 6th, 1908, was
fixed as the time for final hearing.
Application of JohnMars for the
refundment of tax money was allowed.
Resignation of C. E. Saunders as
county physician, was accepted.
C. E. Golden appointed road super
visor of road district No. 21.
In the matter of the petition of L.
G. Grout, et al, for county road, It
was ordered that the board of county
road viewers view and lay out said
proposed road on the 18th day of Feb'
ruary, 1908.
Dr. N. Molltor was appointed secre
tary of the county board of health. -
