That Ferdinand Plnney Earle and Julia Ruttner, who startled Americans by the announce ment of their "affinity" creed last September will be married shortly In Paris, Is a rumor current here. Mrs. Earle now has an application for a divorce pending In the French courts. As soon as this is granted, Earle and his "spiritual affinity" will be legally married. It is alleged that the pres ent .Mrs. Earle will witness the wed ding, and thus give another shack to conventional morality. Since coming to Paris, the artist, his present wife and his future spouse have been seen much together and have gone off on many little 'trips 'o gether, each apparently treating tha other with the utmost consideration and showing every evidence of affec tion In their conduct, ' Parisians are Immensely Interested in the Earte-Ruttner romance, but there have been no such manifesta tions of hatred and disgust as wt.'t vented upon the artist in New York. There Is almost universal praise (r the novel attitude of Mrs. Earle In effacing herself In order to Insure tha happiness of her husband, and there Is little blame for Earle or Miss Rutt ner. , ( - :.
