Breaks Arm on Ice.
Arch Rollins, the barber of North
Powder, met with a very painful ac
cident at the skating rink -last ever
ning. Having put on the roller skates
last evening for the first time, he was
not very sure on his feet, and fell.
Trying to catch himself his whole
weight came on his arm In such a
way that the wrist sustained a frac
ture of one bone.
Geo. W. Hanson, Jr., passed through
La Grande Sunday evening, eo route

Powder.
