GIRLS' GAME
(Disheartening Information reached
Manager Lulu Gulling this morning
from North Powder, to the effect UTat
the scheduled game with the North
Powder girls and their floor for next
Friday night, has been cancelled, for
various reasons.
This throws the local girls out of
a desirable practice game, a feature In
preparation much needed to success
fully cope with Pendleton next week
unless arrangements for a game of
some sort are made Immediately.
It Is possible that a double-header
of local talent exclusively, will be
pulled off at the Commercial club
gymnasium this week. The details are
still unformulated, but If possible
boys' and girls' game of some sort will
be arranged for next Friday night.
