Miss Myrtle Clark of Portland' arrived Sunday morning for a short visit with home folks, returning Christmas night Mr. and Mrs. C H. Bidwell spent Christmas with Mr. Bid well's parents in Union. Miss Liza Burk is visiting with Mrs. T. H. Kiddle. T Messers George and Mayne Wade and their families were Xmas guests of Thomas Wade and wife. There was a social dance given in Russell Hall on Christmas night Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Morton and children of Union visited in the home of Ed Kiddle over Xmas. , The Sunday School dispensed with the usual tree this Christmas and instead sent a box of clothing, provisions, books and playthings to the Boys and Girls Aid Society of Portland. Sunday morning those who had been the mosf faithful in attendance in the different classes in Sunday School receiv ed a handsome picture as also did the teacher who had secured the best results from her class.
