To the Editor:
Dear Sir 1 have made a discovery this
summer that will be quite valuable to the
fruit growers and orchardists of Grande
Round valley, if ynu would be so ki.-d as
to give it space in your paper, so all can
be ready by next summer to exterminate
me coaung motn in good earnest. It is
simple and costs near nothing and very
little labor, and is a sure end dead shot
to the moth.
Take a tin can. 10x12 or 12x16. eight
or ten inches deep, or a coal oil can cut
otr will answer, paint the bottom of it
with some black paint, and when dry fll
up to about 4 inches witi clear water and
put it out under an apple tree and you
have a trap that will catch every codling
moth that will come near it.
The idea is this: In painting the bottom I
of the can you form something like a mir
ror and they see the leaves and limbs of
the tree and drop in it ard never get out
1 ciugub uuiiuiou ana nunareas of tnem,
genuine codling moths. Catch the mother
and there will be no young. With thi
practice, in five years there will be no
more codling moths. Yours,
L. H. RUMBLHART.

That's the way the customers who buy a Victor feel about ft. They look upon the
money as well spent and are more than satisfied with the Victor and the store that
sold it to them.
They get their full measure of fun and enjoyment out of it and keep on buying new
Victor Records all the time.
What would please all the family as much as a Victor for Christmas.
Come in and hear the New Records.
