The spectators could have been crowded into one section, but even with no incentive to do their best, the singers and specialty men were good. The grand opening cap ture i the audience and from then on there was generally something doing of real interest all the time. The show certainly deserved a good house. "The Convict's Daughter" the success ful and popular comedy drama, comes to the Steward's Opera House. Monday. Nov. 6. It is interesting and intense thruout. From the rise of the curtain the expecta tion and suspense of the audience is kept at a high pitch by a constant succession of thulling situations which are worked out very cleverly. The sensational, escape of the convict from the pr son wall to the swiftlv running freight train is without question the acme of stage mechanism.
