TOWNS SPRINGING UP IN FIELDS (Srrlpps News Association) " " Yankton, S. D., Oct. 51 The oldest and most seasoned boomers are amazed at the manner in which towns are spring ing up, like mushrooms in a night, in S. U. They are begining planted by the Milwaukee and Northwestern extention and the Minneapolis and St, Louis railway companies. A field of wheat was in spected last spring by T. A. Wax. town- side agent of the M. and St. Louis. It be longed to .Chris Stemwedes. Stakes were driven to show where the streets were to be located and the building of the town immediately commenced. Now the tewn of Florence as it is called has its hand some brick buildings, its newspaper and all the other appertenances of a full grown municipality. . The same thing occured at Wallace. Brentford, and Cresbard. A new town built, also in a wheat field is to receive its name today. The lines are beins raDidlv pushed forward an 2 it is expected they will be completed to La Beau the western terminus by January 1. ' PROVISION WAGONS Two prdvision wagons passed thru La Grande this week enroute from Fort Walla Walla to Baker City where they will meet th troop which is now on its way from Boise. Idaho to Fort WaMi Walla. Thersop is unable to ' cross tha mountain without additional assistance anj the two wagons, drawn by six-mule teams, will assist, the troop on its final two days' march. Do Not-Wait Until Winter Or Diease Will Become Chronic. Many people in La Grande are begin ning mi cougn and hack with fall symp- tonsof disagreeable and offensive ca tarrh. The tongue is coated in the morn ing, and they do rot sleep well at night on account of disagreeable tickling and dropping at the back of the throat as a result of catarrh. Before tha disease becomes chronic they should use Hyomei and get complete freedom from their catarrhal troubles. If you neglect to treat catarrh when it first comes on, the chances are that it will become so firmly rooted and deep seated that it will bother you all winter and may become chronic and almost incurable. The first day's use of Hyomei will show a decided improvement in health. and in a short time there will be no further trouble, and you will be free from catarrh, and coughs and colds will not bother you during the winter. Remember that Hyomei is sold under art absolute guarantee that it costs noth ing unless it cures. Newlin Drug Co., have sold a great many Hyomei outfits. every one with their personal guaratee that it costs nothing unless it cures and Newlin Drug Co., have seen so many remarkable evidences of the curative powers of Hyomei that they are very glad to continue giving this guarantee with every package. A complete Hyomei outfit costs but $1, extra bottles, if needed, 60 cents.
