Her manager, Arthur C. Aiston was one of a dozen competitors for the play, but Mr. Frohman, who has always been a staunch admirer of Miss Corcoran's abil ity saw her, the ideal woman for the part and gave her the preference. James M. Brophy the well known leading man has been secured as Miss Corcoran's chief support and the balance of the company is of much merit. A PRAIRIE SCHOONER The day of the prairie schooner is not yet past. This morning a four-horse team pulled a large prairie schooner into the city enroute to Twin Falls. Idaho. There was a family of six, three of whom took the train here for their destination and the other three will stay with the schooner and team until they have crossed the mountains and reached their new home. BUYS ENTIRE CROP Ol Kirtley, a prosperous young farmer of Alicel, as in the city Saturday dis posing of his twenty acre crop of pota'oes. He soon found a market for them at J. D. McKenn n's. Mr. Kirtley has lately launched into the farming business and his success is well earned. Mr. Kirtley states that he had twenty acres this year cf as nice spuds as one could wish to see, averaging sixty sacks to the acre NO GUESSINti BY OSTEOPATHS The Osteopath is of course able to tell as W;ll as other doctors whether the nerves require stimulation or its opposite. inhibition; but it is not usually necessary. for the purpose of successful treatment, for him to know this. Why? Because he admits that it is Nature that will do the curing, and that he simply aims to re move obstructions that are preventing normal circulation and normal action of forces in the body. Mitadjustmentscause defective circuiat on, imperfect drainage, nerve intexference, organic derangement, and one or more cf these things are re sponsible for the nervous condition of the patients. Correction of the existing mis- adjustments removes the cause of the trouble. STARVING TO DEATH Because her stomach was so weakened by useless druggng that she could not eat, Mrs. Mary H. Walters, of St. Clair St., Columbus. O.. was literally starving to death. She writes: "My stomach was to weak from useless drugs that I could not eat, and my nerves- so wrecked that I could not sleep; and not before I was given up to die was I induced to try Electric Bitters; with the wonderful result that improvement began at once, and a com plete cure followed."
