Call at 1603 Adams Ave. or phone Black 601. AMUSEMENT SHEEP PROM WALLOWA Eleven thousand nine hundred head of sheep were shipped out of Wallowa yes terday. Tftirty-five car in all were pulled into La Grande last evening by the Elgin-La Grande tram and from here thjy were shipped to Chicago. There were 170 head of sheep on each deck, two decks in each car. This is a total of 340 in each car, 1 1,900 for grand total. The freight on each car it $110.00, a total of $3850. The day before thirteen cars were shipped, making a total for two days. 16.320 sheep. The sheep were purchased from Wal lowa county sheep raisers and the net sum which the sheepment of that county realize is enormous. Still another large train is being loaded at Elgin today and will be snipped perhaps tonight. TONIGHT Without doubt. Elmer Walters' pro duction of "A Millionaire Tramp is on of th most elaborate ever given to any flrt act shows a typical depot, with its tru-ks. moving train, loafers and other characteristic equipment; the second act is the church of the Holy Cross, one of the handsomest churcn letting ever made. The third act how the exterior also the interior of a country opera house with the curtain up and tha performance in progress; a very unique and thrilling effect; the last act is the interior of a country tavern with its grandfather's clock, old fashioned fire place, and quaint trappings of a past self that must not be overlooked as positively the strongest of its kind dramatic field. At the business meeting of the Eastern Oregon Medical Society, held yesterday afternoon, it was decided to hold the next session of the society at Radium Springs, the new sanitarium in Baker county. At the election of officers for the en suing year which occurred late in the afternoon, the following selections were made: Dr. Jacob Prinzing, of Ontario, president; Dr. J. A. Geisendorfer, The Dalles, first vice president; D. A. E. King, of Antelope, second vice president; Dr. C. E. Saunders, of Union, secretary and treasurer; delegates to the state society, Dr. C. J. Smith and Dr. J. A. Rueter of The Dalles; alternates. Dr. Lazier of Weston and Dr. Thomas of Milton. Dr. j Gregg of Wallowa, was re-elected as a member of the board of censors. By those who attended the convention the session was pronounced a highly suc cessful one and the local members of th profession enjoyed the visit from their Eastern Oregon brethern. T.
