(Id BRITTAIN CANNOT BE FOUND
The search for Cecil Brittaw has to all
practical purposes come to an end. most
or the posses disbanding today and the
dogs were taken off the trail.
The kidnapping theory has now been
accepted and the sheriff ie working on
that hypothesis.
From the telephone report last night
the kidnapping of the boy is blamed to
family troubles. It seems that Mrs. Brit
tain has been married once before, and
having secured a divorce from the firt
husband, whose name could not be ascer
tained, was married to her present hus
band, Mr. Britain. The report goes on
to state that they now suspect strongly
that Mrs. Britain's first husband has
taken the boy simply to even up his score
against her, knowing full well that it wa
the best way of making her suffer. It is
said that he was seen around the Toll
gate before the disappearance. of the child,
but since then he is no where to be found,
although they have tried to do so.
