city this afternoon that the Wallowa
bridge had been washed out this morning

condition of the bridge state there ii averv
reason to believe that th bridge ha been
carried away as the river is very high
and th bridge is in a very shaky condi

' J. J. Troxall, who resides at Weston,
pleaded guilty to dynamiting fish in the
Umatilla river above Bingiam Springs
station. He was fined $200 and sen
tenced to SO days in the county jail, the
