THE PIONEER PJUniON
The annual pioneer reunion of Union I
county pioneers will be held some time
next months As yet the exact date and
place have not been decided upon ' and 1
Elgin can secure the reunion by the ask
ing.; Something like a tenth of a century
ago Elgin entertained, the old pioneers
but since that time' other towns of the
county have been the scenes of the re
union, It is not only our privilege but!
our duty to entertain the pioneers, and
the holding of the reunion here will doubt-1
less result in some good to the town. I
